Microsoft invites Paul Miller to talk about the digital future of work

September 21, 2012 by

Microsoft HQDigital Workplace Forum CEO Paul Miller has been invited by Microsoft to give a keynote talk at its global headquarters about the digital future of work.

Drawing on the key themes of his book, ‘The Digital Workplace – How Technology is Liberating Work‘, Paul will talk to an invited group of Microsoft staff at the company’s HQ in Redmond, near Seattle on 3 October about the new digital landscape of work and how it is transforming our lives.

The central message of Paul’s book is that in future we will work in entirely new ways, using richer, more immersive tools beyond the confines of the physical workplace.

Paul comments: “Microsoft, IBM, Cisco and others are building and designing the ‘digital infrastructure’ of our future work and life but what does this mean for us as human beings, how will it change our relationships, not just at work but in life, and what impact will it have on all our futures? These are the questions I’ll be focusing on in Redmond.”
