22 June 2012, New York and London

We are delighted to announce details of the official launch event for Paul Miller’s new book “The Digital Workplace:  How Technology is Liberating Work.”

The event will not only be a rare opportunity to hear about Miller’s new book and meet the author in person, but also to hear a fascinating panel discussion about the way emerging patterns in mobile working are blurring the boundaries between the office and home, and ultimately work and family.

The event takes place at Digital Peninsula, Greenwich in London on 9 July from 5pm to 7pm.

Paul Miller said “I’m very excited to be hosting an event at Digital Peninsula to launch my new book. We’ve got some excellent thought leaders on our panel including Jim Read, Associate Director at Arup .”

Miller continued “We’re just starting to navigate the new digital world of work and whilst there are some tremendously exciting opportunities, there are also dangers.  Although my book covers many themes, at Digital Peninsula we’ll be focusing on the darker side of the Digital Workplace, such as addiction and isolation. Anybody intrigued, energized or just plain terrified by the future of work should come along!”

“The Digital Workplace: How Technology is Liberating Work” is a ground-breaking work which explores how technology is creating a new landscape and geography of work. It has already picked up some excellent reviews, and is gaining the attention of global technology leaders such as Microsoft, IBM and Cisco.

Paul Miller will be signing copies of the book at Digital Peninsula.  It is available in hardback, paperback and eBook editions.  More details about the book including details on how to purchase a copy can be found at http://www.digitalworkplacebook.com.
